Bowel Scan

Bowel cancer claims more lives annually than road accidents, yet there are few Bowel Cancer awareness campaigns compared with the many road safety promotions.

Bowelscan endeavours to create awareness of Colorectal or Bowel Cancer and to minimise the chance of getting this disease,
promotes a healthy diet and an easy to use, inexpensive test kit which provides a non invasive and reliable way to spot the early signs of cancer and polyps.

Annual testing is recommended for men and women over 40 yearsof age.

Bowelscan is organised by WA Rotary in March each year. No profit is made by Rotary or participating pharmacies and all medical services are provided by licensd general practioners and pathologists. The
